How do I
setup email information for an AOL user?
For
the email server, enter smtp.aol.com.
For the
user’s email address, enter the email address that the user desires to send
email from. Note: On AOL, a user can have multiple email
accounts.
You must
also enter authentication information; that is, the username and
password. You MUST enter the
username and password that the user uses when they login to AOL. This may not be the same as the email
address entered above.
Try to
send a test email. If not successful,
change the port number from 25 to 587.
How do

the email server, enter smtp.mail.yahoo.com.
For the
user’s email address, enter the email address that the user desires to send
email from. Note: On Yahoo, a user can have multiple email
accounts.

also enter authentication information; that is, the username and
password. You MUST enter the
username and password that the user uses when they login to Yahoo. This may not be the same as the email address
entered above.

When testing email, I get a message
regarding aosmtpex.dll. How do I fix
this?
From the
Windows Start menu, choose Run. In
the edit box, enter “regsvr32 c:\hmd\aosmtpex.dll”. You will receive a message that the DLL
has been successfully registered.
